Hello Ryan!

Last day of term – I expect you’re happy about that, with days and days of holidays ahead.

Well, it’s such a brilliant summer, so I suppose you’ll get some good times down at the beach.

I found this photo of you on your very first visit to the beach.  You look great in your little blue swimsuit, but I wonder, maybe you’re thinking “What’s all this then?”

You certainly loved the water, just like your Dad, and soon you learned to swim.

I remember your Dad, and your Grandad Roger used to throw you up through the water, their hands under your feet, and then push you up and out of the water!  You just loved that, and did it over and over.

On the next photo you are with Amy, rolling cars down the slide in my garden.

Dear Ryan, enjoy your summer whatever you will be doing.  It would be so good to talk to you, and then you could tell me what you get up to.
