Hello Ryan, hello Samantha, it’s the end of your half-term holidays now, and I’m thinking it has not been very nice weather for you really. We have all been indoors for so long now, and then we get this rainy, windy week
I hope that everyone you know is well and keeping safe in these strange times. For us, things are much the same. Jas is 18, Amy is 17, and they both study at Poole College.
Here in the park, builders have been working constantly since March. They have taken down all the very old conker trees from the swimming pool end to the Crazy Golf area, made new paths and roads, carparks and parking, and brightened up the new tarmac with new yellow lines!
They start at 7.30 each morning and work on until 5.30. It has been astonishing watching all their mighty machines from our windows. Later in the year, they will develop the old putting green near to our house, and are planning to have giant Jenga and Chess Pieces on the grass there. It should look really good.
I hope your school days are going well this term and you’re enjoying your studies. Such a long break you had through the summer, or, maybe, you did get some school-time?
Ryan, I am wishing you a very happy birthday! 14 seems so grown-up, and I hope you have a great day on Tuesday, and have lots of fun. We are always thinking of you both and miss you all the time. Keep safe both of you, and most of all, have fun!
Sending loads of love to you, Granny Ruth. XX
