Hello Samantha and Ryan!
So you’re back at school again now, and into your new school year.
I’m a bit late with my message I know, and before you know it, half-term will be here, and then Halloween and Pumpkins, and then fireworks night will arrive!
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying your new classes, and continue to do well at your schools.
Ryan, do you remember this lovely wooden penguin?
You gave that to me as a present, and he used to sit on the fireplace in the lounge. Now he stands on the window sill right at the top of the house, looking out at the park. You can just see his black beak when looking from the Crazy Golf here in the park!
It was really lovely to bump into you, Ryan, on the Broadway in the summer. I was so surprised to see you; the first time for 5 years! I miss talking to you and Samantha very much, and always will, so it was delightful to chat to you that day, and to hear how you are getting on, to see what you look like and how grown-up you are.
Your cousins, Jas and Amy, have both left school, and start at Poole College now, which is quite near our house, so we often see them as they go on their way through the park, and back again later to the bus station. Amy is 16, and Jas will be 18 in January, and they often talk about you both; they remember the things you liked to do together, and all the fun you had.
Here’s a couple more photos you might like to see:
There’s you, Samantha, braving the spider web
And you Ryan, zooming along the zip wire
I am so please to have loads of photos and videos or you both, to help me remember
Dear Grand-children, once again I send my love to you.
From your Granny Ruth
